PROGRESSIVE RECOVERY IS a custom engineering fabricating firm that offers a high level of expertise in chemical, mechanical, electrical and software engineering, instrument and control design and equipment fabricating. PRI has the equipment and personnel to complete your projects in-house and on time, making us a unique source for contract engineering and manufacturing in one organization and eliminating the need for you to coordinate the activities of multiple vendors.
OUR AREA OF EXPERTISE IS modular heat transfer systems for solvent processing and distillation. Other areas of expertise include:
OUR PHILOSOPHY has always been that we provide solutions to client's needs that yield a positive return on the client's investment. We design and build systems to the highest standards to deliver reliable performance in difficult environments.
We want the results of the project to meet or exceed the expectations of the client, making us the vendor of choice for future projects. AS A FULL SERVICE VENDOR, PRI has the ability to manage a project from the recognition that a problem exists to the commissioning and continued support of the equipment and procedures to remedy that problem. The process begins with a thorough evaluation of the present situation, the problems that exist and what results the client would like to achieve. Discussions with our engineering staff will result in the creation of a concept of the process to give the desired results. To validate this concept we may use computer simulation of the process, testing in our laboratory, or additional engineering design work. Further testing may be done after the completion of engineering to again validate the concept of the equipment and the methodology that will be used for the full scale system. Detail design and fabrication of the system takes place with our in-house engineering team closely supervising and monitoring the progress. Our engineers and field service staff work closely with the client during the installation of the equipment and the commissioning of the unit. Support after the sale is provided by our Field Service and Customer Service staffs to be sure the system functions as designed and continues to meet the client's needs.
OUR MODERN FACILITY is located just 35 minutes from Lambert International Airport in St. Louis, Missouri. The 48,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility and 8,000 sq. ft. of office space were designed to meet our specific manufacturing needs. Setting on 23 acres, we have a large concrete pad for outdoor assembly and room to expand the manufacturing facility in the future.
Our engineering department is housed in the same facility as manufacturing to permit them to monitor the progress of a project and if questions arise from the shop floor, respond to them immediately. CAD/CAM systems are in place to expedite production of components and all design is done on the latest releases of Autocad. Our panel shop is located adjacent to our shop floor and constructs the electronic controls for the systems. It is UL certified and all controls are built using the highest quality components and standards.
The manufacturing department is constructed with high bays and four overhead, traveling cranes to allow the manufacture of large assemblies indoors. The additional jib cranes at various work stations allows the shop to easily handle large sub-assembly components.
PRI IS ACCREDITED to national and international standards. PRI is an approved ASME Code Shop. This stamp requires a rigorous evaluation of the plant, procedures, welding techniques, design capabilities and compliance with Section VIII of the ASME Code for Unfired Pressure Vessels. Utilizing this stamp requires a four-visit inspection of each and every ASME vessel including design review, fit-up, welding and the final hydrostatic test. These inspections are by third party, bonded inspectors insuring every client the integrity of quality work.
PRI's electrical panel department is a certified Underwriters' Laboratory fabrication facility. The design, layout and component inspection is made by UL field inspectors. Again, this outside inspection insures the proper design and construction to meet the current requirements of the National Electric Code (NEC) and the more stringent UL requirements. Approval to many other world wide standards is available through UL's agreements with those organizations.
